Alex49H
Question for the #DumaArmy: if I use Ping Plotter from my cell to monitor my network/connection and I see packet loss, is it my phone or my network/connection?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 15, 2015 Administrators Share Posted September 15, 2015 It will be wireless so its less reliable, from a wired PC do you experience the same?
Zennon
Yeah like Fraser says there is no point testing via WiFi unless you want to view how much packet loss is involved by using WiFi.
Alex49H
Makes sense. So anything I see or the results are more than likely only from it being wireless and on the phone. There could be more or less or no packet loss if I do it wired through a PC or laptop. Then first: I have to connect my laptop to the Modem only to see if it is the modem. After that I can try it through the router that is connected to the modem. Thank gents! #DumaArmy #BestCommunity
