Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted September 13, 2015 Netduma Staff Posted September 13, 2015 Hi Mega, I assume you are the same person as Dioni Rod?
Dioni Rod. Posted September 13, 2015 Author Posted September 13, 2015 Yeah....its me..trying to figure out how to access screen shot from my laptop to form.. ..pissing me off..
xXMegakillXx Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 getting players in lobby from PR,CANADA and CALI. MEXICO...
PharmDawgg Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 1. Try this: http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=why_am_i_connecting_to_hosts_outside_that_are_outside_of_my_geofilter 2. Also you can place your ping assist to 0 and that is basically turning it off. Thereby only allowing people into you lobby that are within you geofilter. 3. Go into Settings>Misc and click enable auto cloud and bleeding edge cloud and then press apply cloud settings. Then click reboot router. Let us know if this helps.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 14, 2015 Administrators Posted September 14, 2015 I'd just echo what Buck says here, it looks mostly from that screenshot that it is working for the most part. Bucks suggestions should sort it
xXMegakillXx Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Tried with 0 ping they still get thru..
PharmDawgg Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Don't forget to try #1 and especially #2 and reboot your router afters. The suggestion in # 2 will update to the most current servers. I am not sure how quick this process is so you may want to wait about 15 to 30 min before trying to start a new game and maybe even shut your console down during this process.
xXMegakillXx Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 1 thing I noticed is I keep having to tick my select service...Xbox 360 and Xbox live... Could my Ethernet cable effect my geo filter..
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 14, 2015 Administrators Posted September 14, 2015 If you're disconnecting the router/xbox/switching between wifi and ethernet on the console then that could be why. Otherwise could you show us a picture of the Geo with the hosts being allowed outside the radius please
Buds Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 The triangles are just blocked from being host, not joining the lobby. From the picture the host looks OK and within filter but surprised no one has pointed out it doesn't filter all players. Ignore my post it game is destiny
xXMegakillXx Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Console is always wired never play on Wi-Fi...will get u more screen shots...at work now.. Get that to you later today

Ignore my post it game is destiny Even when I set ping to 0 still getting long distance players... Had my r1 close to year now never had this problem..player's from outside US.. I live in New Jersey

Also include all the settings in that screen shot as I assume you've changed them since the last screen shot you posted
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 14, 2015 Administrators Posted September 14, 2015 Once you provide the pictures it will be much easier to see whats happening
xXMegakillXx Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 OK....soon as I get Home From Work I'll take those screen shot..

Had my r1 close to year now never had this problem..player's from outside US.. I live in New Jersey Is this a COD game? If so I hate to break bad news, but the router doesn't filter players in the lobby. Only the host (that's all its ever done). The matchmaking can still put players from all over the world into that lobby. Unfortunately that's just the reality of a dwindling player base and any sort of skill based matchmaking. Smaller pool of players and therefore lobby can contain players from multiple continents.
xXMegakillXx Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Been playing BlackOps 2 for couple months..gave up on AW game was trash..this situation just started 2 to 3 day's ago..never had this problem...yesterday I had 3 player's from Puerto Rico in my lobby with yellow triangle..from beginning to end of the game
