Loss of saved servers, not auto pinging, ping assist slider not staying where I set it

Recommended Posts

Duma team,

I'm wondering if I have a bug going on with the host filtering and congestion control tabs of my control panel, I don't have any button which saves or updates the servers I am naming and grading.  I graded 3 dedicated servers last night they are gone this morning.  Method I used last night:

1) name the server I was connected to

2) slide the % scale to an appropriate level

3) manually ping the server (even though auto ping host is selected)

4) Hit enter ( because I don't have any button to press which updates or saves)

They were in my white list and black lists last night, but they were gone today.

As far as I can tell I have never had a functioning auto ping working on my router.

the PA slider and sometimes even the congestion control sliders don't stay where I set them.  I can leave the tab to look at a different one and when I come back they aren't where I set them??

I have the latest firmware (.04)

Any suggestions?  I haven't really seen these specific problems addressed in the forum

Thanks guys!

Make sure you have cookies selceted in settings misc settings.

And I would do a reboot from the misc settings page this can iron out any bugs and silly happenings with any machine that runs on a OS.

There isn't an update button for the server because you are not able to add them to allow/deny :) Only other players can be added to allow and deny.

And why don't you think your auto ping works? When you don't think it is working, can you take a screen shot of your GeoFilter :)

Can you confirm that it is definitely moving when you leave the tab and come back. That seams very odd as I don't even think it would move if someone else was changing it from a different computer :)

Hey Crossy,  Are you telling me I can't add dedicated servers to my list? I know they won't be filtered, but  I have 6 microsoft cloud servers for titanfall on there now.  I have been adding handles to the servers so I will know which ones I have bad connections to.

Does "auto ping" automatically ping the server and show the graph for the server you're connected to?   I won't see a ping graph unless I click the ping button.

The random slider movement happens on occasion only.  I've only noticed it since the update from a few of weeks ago.  I'd say I've noticed it 3-4 times since then.

I only have an "Update" Button on my Geofilter  on occasion  ~30% of the time or so I have the option to "Update" after I give the server a handle

If the server is recognised as a dedicated server by the Netduma (has no 'Update' button) then you shouldn't be able to add it to your allow/deny list. The server can be filtered though, the same as any other host on the GeoFilter. Just make sure you have strict mode ticked for that to work :)

If you have auto-ping selected, the graph should show and be pinging whatever is host on the map. But this sometimes takes a minute to kick in and sometimes only happens when you are in the game :) Also, maybe just try un-ticking a re-ticking the 'auto-ping' box :)

I'm not too sure about the random slider movement. Maybe wait until the next update and see if it continues after that.

If you don't have the update button it means it it a dedicated server and you shouldn't be able to add to allow/deny list  :)
