Grip Posted August 6, 2015 Share Posted August 6, 2015 I'm still getting hosts thousands of miles out of my bubble. I've blacklisted them via the slider feature. Also, my ping setting isn't working as I'm getting hosts double the ping I'm setting as the maximum. Any help would be appreciated. Zennon Posted August 6, 2015 Share Posted August 6, 2015 Hi , the wiki links are great for learning this stuff just to add the ping assist is to assist with pings out side of the geo-filter so inside if there is a host with a high ping then you will get a high ping. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 6, 2015 Administrators Share Posted August 6, 2015 If ping assist detects it as being under your ping limit it will allow it through, so say there was a host with 50-100ms ping, if your PA is set at 50ms, PA may detect that host when its on 50ms, even though it may shoot up to around 100ms once connected if that makes sense.
