i have a XR300 gaming router and my speed is limited to 100mbps

my ISP just installed Fiber in my area and i have a speed of 600mbps down and abouy 180mbps up

i searched this problem on the internet the majority says it a software problem with the DumaOS

i tried some solution that were suggested like turning on then off VLAN/bridge it worked for some time

i even tried the manual IP for all devices on the network

but since yesterday it is stuck at LAN1 100mbps full (i changed the ethernet cable i have one CAT 6E)

Do you get the issue connected to any of the other ports? Check your PC ethernet adapter is it set to auto negotiate? Either way set to 1Gbps and see if it is better then

Have you rebooted the router since the new speeds? If not, reboot from the interface, close the interface, wait 4 minutes then access, do you get the issue again? Do you get the issue on other devices if you test with those?

Do you get the same issue on another device? Are you saying you changed the ethernet cable to a new one because you were having the issue?

i tried another cable and it worked fine, does the lenght of the cable matters ? (the one i have is about 30 meters CAT6E and is brand new) i was working with it fine and now it limiting my speed a small one from my modem box and now its at 1000mbps, is the cable at fault?

The longer the cable the more subject to interference it is but it's usually fine up to ~100 meters. However with such a long cable it is much harder to determine if there are any kinks or internal breaks for example
