Mach3r Posted Wednesday at 09:00 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:00 PM I have been tweaking the settings and still getting performance like this. Any suggestions?
Aspect of Wrath Posted Wednesday at 10:13 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:13 PM Is every device connected to the r3? Did you set ping optimizer to always instead of auto when you do these tests?
DARKNESS Posted Thursday at 12:57 AM Posted Thursday at 12:57 AM @Mach3rYou won’t get accurate results if the speed test bypass is enabled. You need to disable it. Also, set the congestion control mode to "Always On." Mach3r 1

E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? Are the speeds you pay for/receive 1000/100? How have you setup Congestion Control?

The modem MA670V3-3 router mode dmz I can’t put it becoz no sitting in the modem to put it only portfaword i canput it but I left it empty in the modem yes 500/200 70% 70% @Netduma Fraser
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Friday at 11:01 PM Administrators Posted Friday at 11:01 PM Can you put it in modem or bridge mode or does it have an exposed host option? Alternatively you can port forward 1 - 65535 TCP/UDP to the R3 to achieve the same effect. Once you've done that it should behave better. Also 70% is a good starting point but you may find other percentages work better for your connection

Please Google your ISP and double check if it has bridge mode, pppoe, or dmz because you do not want double nat for gaming. After that try manually adjusting your congestion control instead of getting ping optomizer to adjust congestion automatically.

Though for getting bufferbloat down I'd use Congestion Control, not setting speed for particular devices. Are you required to enter a remote IP there? If not don't put it in just have the local IP.
