Unable to access open NAT on R3

My ISP is Spectrum and I have the R3. I can't seem to configure an open NAT for black ops 6. I'm using a wired connection. Disabling firewalls didn't do anything.

If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. You should get an Open NAT then.

I'm afraid there's no way to do this. I contacted my ISP who said that the modem (model ET2251) is already in bridge mode and there's no way to access a DMZ function because there's no way to adjust the modem settings.

The ET2251 is a pure modem only.. It will always have an Open NAT.. its not a router..  Your issue is not the modem..  Its either a setting in your R3 like possibly the Geo filter is blocking or something upnp isnt picking up..  What are you playing on PC? You might have to resort to port forwarding..

Thanks!

Zippy.

That modem doesn't have WiFi so the rest didn't apply to it, you could ignore what I said.

As above, it's also possible you have a CG-NAT. Check with the Geo-Filter disabled and see if it is open then.

Thanks for the replies. As a reminder, this is for Black Ops 6. I tried disabling geo-filter to no avail...still moderate NAT. Any way to open it if this is indeed a CG-NAT?

I wasn't able to get an open NAT using port forwarding when I tried it before. Can you point me in the right direction on how to do this?

You only need 3 rules:

Port Range
Enter 3074 in both left boxes - Enter 3075 in both right boxes
TCP/UDP
----
Enter 27000 in both left boxes - Enter 27037 in both right boxes
TCP/UDP
----
Port
Enter 4380 in both boxes
TCP/UDP

I'm unable to save a port forwarding rule through DumaOS. The save button is grayed out.

It's likely you've missed something like entering the rule name, scroll up & down and check everything has been entered
