mohands Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 I live in Australia and I was with Telstra and everything was working perfectly. I moved now to another ISP " Aussiebroadband" and servers are pingable at ping heatmap but in Geofilter
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 29, 2024 Administrators Posted October 29, 2024 Some servers won't always be pingable, especially game servers, they tend to reject it. It shouldn't happen for every server. We are working on a new ping method that should allow for more success though. PharmDawgg 1
mohands Posted October 29, 2024 Author Posted October 29, 2024 It is working with Telstra. I tested them in parallel. Telstra and another ISP. servers on Telstra are pingable while on the other ISP they are not. Is this something relating to the connection between the ISP and the server?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 29, 2024 Administrators Posted October 29, 2024 They are probably taking different routes to the destination yes which could affect it

What IP is it and can you run a traceroute with both ISPs to see if they take a different path?

What game are you saying is "pingable" with Telstra and not ABB ? i've tested a bunch of ISPs for cod only and the geo filter doesn't work with any of them, Telstra included. Sometimes i get the error you have shown in the screenshots, other times it's a grey box. I don't understand how it could be related to an ISP tbh (if you are testing the same game)
