Sameer
My PC is not showing up in the Geo Filter while playing Black Ops 6. Any solutions out there? Regards! bmoreirap
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 25 Administrators Share Posted October 25 Are you using game pass by any chance? If so delete the device from the Device Manager, change the PC to a PlayStation in the Device Manager then re-add it and see if it works please. Looks like from the other topic this may be due to playing custom games, if you go through matchmaking does it work?
Jermsz
Will test when I'm off work. Last night in a match nothing was showing.

I did what you asked me to do do. Deleted PC from the Geo-Filter, changed it to PlayStatiion device type and re-added to Geo-Filter. Only this time, while adding the device, it didnt aske me to choose the game (e.g., Call of Duty Black ops 6) to be added for Filtering. Still no luck. Geo filter shows my device Inactive. xBuTcHeRx
Fraser is there a difference between categorizing the device as GAME CONSOLE or PLAYSTATION? I know both have various ports but is one better than the other? gab0021

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 28 Administrators Share Posted October 28 Check the IP on the PC itself, then check the device manager for the device you think it is, do the IPs match?

Yes, the IP address are the same for the device (PC) on both Device Manager and Geo-Filter.

I was literally about to write in with my grievances, but this piece of advice actually worked. I was tearing my hair out prior, thanks Fraser, much appreciated. Will this be how it has to stay or do you intend on adding this game pass method to the pc portion of the geo filter?

Good to hear that sorted it! We'll be testing this way of playing so we can update it for PC

I also noticed the ps5 game plays off of port 3074 where as the game pass game 3075 to have an open Nat type and servers to show up.

It should indicate something, trying to stabilize, unable to stabilize etc, if not then it's been disabled and you'll need to re-enable it. If they're both on at the same time then one will use 3074 and the other will use 3075 that's normal.

It specifically won't work on pc via game pass.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 4 Administrators Share Posted November 4 Thanks, that makes sense, we're testing it with game pass currently so it's probably why it's not working as reliably in that situation. Use it as a PS for now, you'll get the same benefits in the meantime.
Sameer
Havn't had chance to play game lately, so sorry for no reply. I can confirm, changing the device type to xbox or ps does seem to work with GeoFilter for PC game pass. But, not for the device type Computer with game pass. Also, Steady ping don't seem to work when device is changed to xbox/ps. Would love to get this fixed soon.
