After5somewhere
Hi guys, I have a huge problem curently with Geo Filter playing Xdefinat. - still connecting to servers outside the circle - still connecting to DENIED servers - all scenarios described in other topics done twice (rebooting, factory reset) As the filter is working in COD, this might be problem with XD game registration itself, as the gaming device is going on and off all the time. Do you know about this or am I the only one having this problem? I live in Czech Republic and I am connecting to Africa for example Not ideal for fps Thanks. khu
If I recall reading other posts, I believe XDefiant is a game they cannot properly filter at the moment. At least till XDefiant shares their ports/servers can DumaOS team properly filter it
After5somewhere
Hi, thank you for letting me know, I didn't find other post regarding this topic. Could you navigate me to that post so I can follow the problem?
DARKNESS
@After5somewhereI doubt it’ll be something that going to be fixed as the game runs based on your geo location so the only way you can change regions is by using a vpn. It the only game in a while that I’ve seen that locks you into a region. I do find it a bit shady to claim there no sbmm when there’s clearly seems to be a system to we’re your geo locked. TrayDay
For context, here's a map of the servers currently from Mark Ruben himself.
After5somewhere
Thank you for your input guys. I just find it weird when I am in central Europe and playing /according to R3 GEO/ on South Africa server for example.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 18 Administrators Share Posted June 18 As others have mentioned it's not fully compatible with the Geo-Filter currently - we believe they're using proxy/relay servers or other methods to determine where you should play. We'll keep trying but it'll likely require dev input and will take some time.
