khola
Why is reservation capped to 20 Mbps for download and upload? We should be able to simply "Select Device > Adjust QoS for said device". For someone that has IT experience it feels like I'm navigating through a maze to limit bandwidth on devices. The current user interface is extremely complicated for no reason at all. With the way the UI is currently setup you navigate to SmartBOOST > click three dots top right > Click manage profiles to manage current "Favorite" (Default profile) > click on profile > add device > click off screen > click "Bandwidth reservation"> Add reservation > choose device > Choose Target [Why????] I simply want to limit the bandwidth of my devices without the need to select the target for the device... We should be able to limit bandwidth per device similar to how ASUS has it set up: johnnytran

I haven't done it per device because with smartboost all my devices take what they need without issue so far.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 29 Administrators Share Posted February 29 It's pretty much as above, with SmartBOOST it's trying to handle all of that for you, giving bandwidth to devices that need it when they need it and allocating it to other devices when they don't. This is also why when you do reserve bandwidth it's not a hard limit.
