Ting Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 Hello! Can I update the latest? or should I be updating firmware in order? v.3.3.280 - latest v.3.2.453 v.3.0.394 v.3.0.205 v.3.0.179 v.3.0.123 - I currently have
DARKNESS Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 (edited) The most stable one from my experience is v.3.2.453 but if your using a vpn then it be v.3.3.280 the only reason I say this is because v.3.3.280 seems to run traffic on dumaos classified even when disabled but if you don't care then just run the latest a lot of bugs have been fixed compared to that old version your running plus new features. Another thing to add if your on pc I do recommend v.3.3.280 just because it get better dpi support If I remember correctly old versions had issues when trying to reset you just couldn't connect back to network unless you were wired and that was big complaint though it fixed. In addition after installing the update reset the router this is because you don't want old version conflicting with newer firmware it a netduma thing lmao Edited May 2, 2023 by DARKNESS
Ting Posted May 2, 2023 Author Posted May 2, 2023 I play on console and I play once or twice a week. no vpn. Thank you! I'll update to v.3.2.453. 😎
DARKNESS Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 I would also recommend since your on console to classify it under traffic prioritization as a games console so that when someone else connects and uses dumaos classified your games console doesn't get hinder by other consoles and get priority. I would just disable dumaos classified and then add the rules to the device you want but it preference at the end of the day. Ting 1

Be sure to do a factory reset after the update! Ting 1
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 2, 2023 Administrators Posted May 2, 2023 You don't need to update in order, you can update from any version to any other version unless we specify otherwise Ting 1
