Geofilter M.W2019 works fine, but M.W2022 doesn't.

I'm playing in Asia Korea, and I can't enjoy the game because of hackers from country C.
I have a PC and XR500.
I learned how to operate the geofilter in this community and applied it to M.W 2022, but it always connects me to the Hong Kong server.
I was expecting to play on a North American server with great players, but I'm failing to connect.
Can this community help me?

I also tried polygon mode, and the server was blocked continuously. However, it only connects to the new server in the same location.

If as you have shown, it is specific to MW2 2022...

I did the test tonight, I had no problem connecting to the US west coast server!

Have you tried by any chance to change the region of the game at battle.net level?

he just needs to clear the saved game data and profile then when he starts the game it will show his geo locatin in game in the U.S., will take a while to find a game but eventually it will

I don't know if you have a good dl speed, but it might be worth reinstalling the game completly !

What amazes me the most is that it works on other games….

Do you have that server in Hong Kong added to the allow list or has it always appeared with the white circle around it? If so could you provide the ID of the Hong Kong server please as it's quite possible it has been whitelisted by mistake which will make it very hard for you to force servers until we remove that whitelist.

I have completed the reinstall and remain on the Hong Kong server without any change.

The filter map during the game is expressed as shown in the picture. Is there anything I can do?

It keeps blocking the Hong Kong server, but starts again on the server in the same location.

You can't block a server that has been whitelisted, we have to remove it from the whitelist before you can force.

All those IDs there are from the HK servers that appear with the white circle is that correct?

Well, I did the test for you, unfortunately no server on Hong Kong seems to be unlocked when the game is launched, not even an authentication server for me, unfortunately I cannot connect to a game server because Paris - Seoul - LA and vice versa is too much.

The most surprising thing is that the authentication server on Hong Kong on my side does not appear... Could you try on Warzone 1 and see if it works?

Otherwise it would be specific to MW2022!

you're right. The Hong Kong server is marked with a white circle. A domain name is made up of numbers and bc.googleusercontent.com.

 

I don't know if it has something to do with the whitelist. But I am not a streamer or pro gamer.

I tested it with 4 games I have.

Of the four games, only MW2 2022 has a Hong Kong server and is always connected there. MW2019/COLDWAR/VANGUARD gave me access to the geofilter. Even if the whitelist exists, I am not a streamer or a progamer.

I live Asia, I am facing the same issue. Reinstalled the game, I've reset my router. Nothing worked. I tried with blizzard too but same issue.

Some servers are on private networks only way to connect to them is to actually be on the same network as them

the problem is solved. I don't know why...
I found out about the existence of a whitelist, and I made a new ID and confirmed that the geofilter was working normally after connecting. I connected again with the original ID and no longer stayed in the Hong Kong server.

I still don't understand how this can be solved.
