Rustynails Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Since having this router my connection to games have been better but iam having problems with moving my player its fine for a second then its like he wont turn then all of a sudden he will spin 180 degrees its likes its input lag but when i remove the router it does not do it at all anyone els getting this
Guest Netduma_Iain Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 That is very weird, the router has nothing to do with input. Can you try in single player and see if it happens please.
abc123 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 this isn't the router, if it isn't input lag...then it might be a spike it network usage or something similar to a network disconnect.
Rustynails Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 Think i have sorted it ive put it on reactive mode and its smooth as silk now
Guest Netduma_Iain Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Ok glad its fixed but that doesn't make much sense. But all is well that ends well
Rustynails Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 unless because i turned upnp off because i was using dmz either way its all sorted thanks for the great support love the router
Guest Netduma_Iain Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Support so great you fixed it yourself Glad you're enjoying it
Buds Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Weird one. Literally nothing on the router should effect in game movement. Glad its sorted
lefteris.lydios Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 is it me or ping bars in AW are a COMPLETELY useless info?
EffinFancy Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 is it me or ping bars in AW are a COMPLETELY useless info? it's more like, the range is too large for the different number of ping bars.
lilstone87 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Ok glad its fixed but that doesn't make much sense. But all is well that ends well This is weird indeed Iain, but I will say. I have notice this as well a couple times since using the R1. It's very weird, and remind's of a input lag type issue. However leaving the game when it happens, it instantly stops. But like I said I have probably ran into this problem around 5 times. You go to move your guy, does nothing. Then all of a sudden, it does it all in one quick burst, making it near impossible to continue to play. I wonder if he's playing on PS4? maybe related to that, I dunno.
Guest Netduma_Iain Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I really doubt its the router.. but if it happens again let us know
abc123 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I'm just happy the customer is happy, the only thing I can think of is dropped packets.
wrathoftank Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 is it me or ping bars in AW are a COMPLETELY useless info? they are worthless. Sometimes 60-80 ping = 4 bars, sometime 40-60= 3 bars, at least for me...
lefteris.lydios Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 they are worthless. Sometimes 60-80 ping = 4 bars, sometime 40-60= 3 bars, at least for me... my point exactly
faulko Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Does the wifi 2.4 run on the same frequency as the controller? I have this issue and not resolved it yet.Although i have a super piss poor adsl connection i guess i can try reactive.
