We don't have an ETA I'm afraid. Once we've got a firmware we're happy with and the Early Access testers are happy with, we'll go ahead and release it as an 'Open Beta' and let NETGEAR know they can release it through their system when they've completed their testing. john102 Posted February 27, 2023 Author Share Posted February 27, 2023 Alright, before I do a factory reset to apply the beta firmware to my XR500 should I backup my XR500 settings before I perform a factory reset to apply the firmware or is a backup not recommended as it’s not a good idea for the dumaos 3.3 beta firmware? I’m asking this because I have a lot of settings in my XR500 right now that I don’t want to setup all over again after I install the beta firmware. Generally, when going between versions it's not a good idea to restore a backup of settings created on a previous firmware so I wouldn't recommend it.
