Mr.Stallion0013
Now I think I may have seen this on here before, but I'd like to know what everyone thinks. Which cable modem is better for xfinity/Comcast the netgear cm400 or moto sb6141?
Alex49H
I'd go with the Netgear cm 400 instead of anything from Arris Motorola. I have the SB6141 but it may drop connection. The Netgear is more stable and runs better.
Alex49H
Look up Bufferinf and Latency in the forum. You will see why Motorola isn't a good choice at the moment. ☺️
Mr.Stallion0013
Thanks for pointing me there. I knew I was reading about the Motorola modems having issues on here before just couldn't find it today. The netgear is looking good so far gonna shop around to see whose got the best deal this week. Thanks Alex!

Trolling_Farm
Dgnd4000 netgear or fritzbox 3490 Depends on what you are trying to do.... With both of those you wont need a netduma router or another router at all.. If I had that I would put it in bridge mode and use the netduma has my wifi. Why are you looking at gateways? You should buy a modem separate and the router do be separate.

ziocomposite
One of the motorola ones has an issue that causes high pings/packet loss etc with the R1. It's the modem above the sb6141 -> sb6183 that has issues. I have a 150D & 10U connection and have no issues with the 141.
