infernomachine
Can someone walk me through port forwarding?
zombitroid
I wouldnt bother with port forwarding. Last time I tried to do port forwarding on my old router it messed up my internet connection and I had lag problems for over a year. The net duma fixed that though Just try to use upnp if you can. lukasz
Yebs just enable UPnP. UPnP devices are "plug-and-play" in that when connected to a network they automatically establish working configurations with other devices. So all the port fowarding. Is done for you. Also as i remeber the reason for port fowarding was usually to get a open Nat. Do you have an open NAT?
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted July 24, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted July 24, 2015 Yep, as everyone has said port forwarding isn't necessary Just make sure UPnP is enabled in Settings >> UPnP and 'UPnP forwarding' is enabled in Settings >> Miscellaneous. Finally, make sure the Netduma is in your primary router's DMZ by following the instructions here
Zennon
An open NAT is just that open, so follow what the guys have said , there was always a lot of talk about opening ports to stop lag on cod, this was snake oil.
