Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 12, 2023 Administrators Share Posted February 12, 2023 Hello, welcome to the forum! Are ALL devices connected to the XR router or do you still have some connected to the BT hub? You'll need to put the XR WAN IP (found on the System Information page) into the BT router DMZ and that will help as well.
mnequest
I don't use the BT hub I conect the xr500 straight to the ont to replace the BT hub

mnequest
PPPOE is what the xr500 selected on setup
Netduma Liam
Can you please put the BT hub back in place, then configure PPPoE on that. Afterwards, connect the XR500 to the BT Hub via DHCP instead of PPPoE. Re-test your speeds after that and see if they're better.
mnequest
So but the xr500 in ap mode
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 13, 2023 Administrators Share Posted February 13, 2023 32 minutes ago, mnequest said: So but the xr500 in ap mode The XR will still be in router mode, the BT Hub will handle PPPoE so you can then take out the PPPoE details on the XR. Then do the DMZ setting I mentioned previously and once you've done that check the speeds while connected to the XR.
