Michael Carrasco Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Why is my gaming pc showing offline even though I have a reserved is address for it.
Netduma Liam Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Is the address showing on the offline device definitely still the same as the address your PC actually has? If not, can you check the other devices showing as online and check that none of those are your PC? It may be that after you set the static IP, Device Manager saw it as a new device by mistake.
Michael Carrasco Posted October 25, 2022 Author Posted October 25, 2022 I checked other online devices and they are all different IP addresses. I’m not home right now but I will check if my pc has the same ip as what shows on the netduma site.. incase it does not how can I fix this ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 25, 2022 Administrators Posted October 25, 2022 When you turn off your PC do you leave it in a standby mode? If so reboot the PC, then see if it appears online please.

Michael Carrasco Posted October 25, 2022 Author Posted October 25, 2022 @Netduma Fraser I’ve done reboot the pc plenty of times and still showing offline… and never leave it on standby i always shut it down completely
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 25, 2022 Administrators Posted October 25, 2022 If you do a speedtest on the PC does the PC switch to online? Do you have a specialized gaming ethernet adapter on the PC? Are you using Armor?
Michael Carrasco Posted October 25, 2022 Author Posted October 25, 2022 Im not using armor it’s off and my pc is hardwired directly to the router… for the Speedtest do you mean through the netduma page ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 25, 2022 Administrators Posted October 25, 2022 The ethernet adapter on your PC, is it specialized such as a Killerethernet for example? Not on the interface, speedtest.net
Michael Carrasco Posted October 26, 2022 Author Posted October 26, 2022 I ran the Speedtest and it still shows offline…as far for my internet adapter it says killer e3100g 2.5 gigabit Ethernet

Now, run another speedtest from the PC using speedtest.net or something and refresh the device manager page while you're doing this. Does the PC show as online?
Michael Carrasco Posted October 27, 2022 Author Posted October 27, 2022 I just set a different IP address on my pc and all of a sudden it’s online now

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 27, 2022 Administrators Posted October 27, 2022 It might be that it was set previously to an already used address which is why it didn't show online
