Still picking up server in California

I was finally able to get a capture of the odd server that is shown in northern CA  bay area (San Francisco / Oakland).   I have ping assist set to 30mS, which is not shown.  The normal ping to servers in the area are around 30mS. The game play for this server was really bad. According to the screen capture, is it really a player host?  Mislocated?

Definitely a server, looks to be in Utah which would make sense given your ping to it. Also looks like you have your PS5 set as a PC? It should be set as a PlayStation in the Device Manager, then it will add with the Games Console service on the Geo-Filter.

My "PS5" in device manager is categorized as PlayStation.  Why do you think it was setup as PC?  I deleted the PS5 from the geo-filter and added it back.  It now says "Console" under the PS5 name.  What would be the affect if it was not loading the game console service?

Very odd, as it had the Call of Duty service showing that usually means the device has been set to PC. That's good, it may be more effective and see more servers potentially.
