Netduma Liam
Does PC1 in your example show as being offline in Device Manager? Does PC1 and PC2 both show as having the same IP address? Can you remove PC1 to avoid any future confusion?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 14, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 14, 2022 That sounds to me like the device has been connected to the WiFi and at a separate point, ethernet or vice versa. The PC would have a different MAC address depending on how it is connected and therefore show as two devices. If you give it a reserved IP that may resolve it, or giving them the names you have done and add based on how it is connected and should work without a reset. PillCosbyJr
Seen 2 mac address makes sense now. My desktop PC is only connected via Ethernet thru a switch and then the switch to XR1000. Thus there are 2 different mac address but same hostname and IP

What's the make and model of the switch out of interest? Is it a managed switch or unmanaged?
PillCosbyJr
Its a managed switch https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PLFCQVK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=

Are you able to run the switch in an unmanaged mode or do you need it to be accessible via an interface?
PillCosbyJr
It matches, i will leave it as it is since i know what the culprit is. Thank you! Netduma Fraser
