traffic prioritisation

Hi,

i play on ps5 and have been researching the forum for ports people use.

 

attached are my results when i am n game. am i going in the right direction ?

 

also if i use a vpn to other countries do i need different ports ?

A few of those rules aren't really doing much but for the most part it looks good!

I don't think you need to use different ports over a VPN, they should all still be the same.

Check the official ports the game uses, if you've covered all those then there aren't any more you need to add. 

As far as I can see you're basically prioritizing three times there which isn't needed. If you want to use ports to prioritize then disable the Games Console rule and the second to last rule from that screenshot.

Remove all except for UDP Source port 3074-3074 Destination port 30000-45000 if u are playing CoD on the PS5.

And turn Games console and Work from Home rule off for the best gaming experience so that only your gaming traffic will be prioritized and not double

do you use qos always or never ?

No you don't, each rule is independent and does not require any other to activate
