Send Rate and Receive Rate

Hi guys,

So I have a question about my Netduma R2. It has been working great, but the last few days I’ve been experience weird lag situations.

When I looked at my geo-filter, I noticed that my Send Rate and Receive Rate were much higher (80-300 ms) than my overall ping (10-20 ms).

Since I’m a noob on IT-level, I was wondering if these spikes in my rates have anything to do with the lag I’m experiencing. I’ll enclose a photo for clarification purposes.

Glad to hear your answer if you have one! And many thanks for helping out!!

It is possible yes but there isn't really anything you can do to alter the rates. Weirdly though you have a 0 receive rate on that first screenshot - was the lag unplayable on that one? Could you provide a screenshot of the System Information page please?

only in cod or battle royals i have seen this, send and receive rates are super high! while playing on servers that give me 10-20ms ping,

but when i play on a high ping server my send and receive rates are lower or equivalent to my ping.

i wonder if cod really does nerf low ping players,

or if the send and receive rates are high i wonder if it it could be due to a lot more players and graphics loading in the background of the game (e.g)

i wouldn't blame netduma or their equipment as myself and my friends who own a netduma router experienced the same things only on specific games like cod, battle royals.

if anything netduma has been an absolute pleasure to test, use & experience.

cheers 🥂
