The one in device manager ends in .3 and the one on command prompt ends in .1 Double check you're not looking at the gateway address there as that usually ends in a .1 as it is the IP to access the interface.
IndySlayer Posted January 15, 2022 Author Posted January 15, 2022 Oh yeah that’s what I was looking at. Yeah the IP addresses match
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 15, 2022 Administrators Posted January 15, 2022 When you followed the steps before did you have the Xbox/steam client on the PC closed, even in the system tray?
IndySlayer Posted January 16, 2022 Author Posted January 16, 2022 I don’t think so? Not sure. And not sure what you mean by the system tray? Sorry I’m not the best with computer components lol

Sorry I’m not the best with computer components lol No worries so by the system tray I mean on the bottom right of the screen on Windows: and when you click the little up arrow something like this will appear: There are applications running in the background so when you click the X on the top right of a program it may not necessarily close fully and will appear in the System tray and run in the background. This is something game clients like Steam and Battle.net etc do. So if you check the tray, see steam for example then you can right click and exit to stop it running in the background. So follow the steps I posted previously and make sure to close the programs completely from the system tray and see if it works.
IndySlayer Posted January 16, 2022 Author Posted January 16, 2022 Ok I did that and still nothing shows on the geo filter
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 16, 2022 Administrators Posted January 16, 2022 Just to make sure we are on the same page, when are you looking at the map exactly to see icons on the map? E.g are you expecting it when you're in the lobby or just when in a game playing and does it ever show when you're in a game playing? Can you zoom out fully on the map please as they could be appearing elsewhere.
IndySlayer Posted January 16, 2022 Author Posted January 16, 2022 I don’t see anything at any point. Neither while in the lobby or in a game playing. Also this again is Halo Infinite that I am talking about

IndySlayer Posted January 17, 2022 Author Posted January 17, 2022 I don’t see anything for CoD: Vanguard either. Idk evidently geofilter just doesn’t work.
IndySlayer Posted January 17, 2022 Author Posted January 17, 2022 I was even starting to lag on CoD when I tried it and I never lagged on that game with my other nighthawk router that didn’t have DumaOS on it. This router isn’t impressing me so far especially with the price tag on it
Netduma Liam Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 Does you PC have any other network adapters? For example, is it simultaneously connected to a different Wi-Fi network while you're wired to the XR1000? If so, could you please disconnect and/or disable the Wi-Fi adapter from Windows settings?
IndySlayer Posted January 17, 2022 Author Posted January 17, 2022 Not sure what you mean exactly. I have my PC hardwired to the router and my phone on the Wi-Fi to the same router

I have my PC hardwired to the router and my phone on the Wi-Fi to the same router Is your PC Wi-Fi capable? If so, hit Windows Start -> Type 'Settings' and hit Enter -> Network and Internet -> Change Adapter Options -> Right click the Wi-Fi adapter and hit 'Disable'. If you're unable to find the Wi-Fi adapter, your PC probably doesn't have Wi-Fi. The reason I'm asking you to do this is because if you're PC is connected to a different Wi-Fi network, such as your ISP router's for example, game traffic may be routed over Wi-Fi and bypass DumaOS, at which point you wouldn't see anything in Geo-filter.
IndySlayer Posted January 17, 2022 Author Posted January 17, 2022 Does it only work in Halo infinite if you are playing social? Does it work if you’re playing Ranked?

IndySlayer Posted January 17, 2022 Author Posted January 17, 2022 Never played social. Was just curious. It didn’t work for CoD Vanguard either. Said the game wasn’t supported yet

Send that over here and we'll take a look if Geo-filter is active in the backend.
IndySlayer Posted January 18, 2022 Author Posted January 18, 2022 Like what do you mean reproduce it? The geofilter is on..like the circle with the spinning line is there…just nothing shows up on the map. Like no players or servers pop up and it doesn’t show any blocked servers or anything in the list
