Bert
It measures RTT but servers don't actually always respond to ping. So basicly it's RTT to the hop before the server. Most likely doesn't matter since that would be a gateway at the datacenter anyway. Also games don't always measure ping in the same way. CoD for example measures it from the UDP packet stream and therefore it can vary with what you see on DumaOS. You can confirm this by putting the domain name in pingplotter. Something is off with that server though as it's not located in Sydney but in Singapore. When I ping that server (13.55.76.134) from Thailand it returns 40ms ping which indicates it's SG based. Having different client and host rates depends on the game but i's not unusual. In your case Host is 64Hz and client 32Hz. I don't know what it's supposed to be for New World. Recieve rate and sending rate. It's normal that recieve rate is much higher. When you play a MP game with 12 people you are recieving data from 12 players while you only send your own data. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 20, 2021 Administrators Share Posted November 20, 2021 Good explanation above. Games also have processing delay which makes the in game ping higher than what you would see on the Geo-Filter. SwiftCookie
