David824 Posted October 30, 2021 Share Posted October 30, 2021 Not sure why my PC is getting a moderate nat. I have my R2 in UPNP and even have my PC set to a DHCP. When I went to look under my UPNP, its not reading my PC and giving it ports. It has before though...my ps5 will grab 3074 ports...and when I play on my PC it will grab a 3074 port and some ending port but I'm always open. It's possible the Geo-Filter is causing a misreading so disable this before you even launch the game client, then see if it appears open - if it does it's a misreading you can re-enable and ignore it when it says moderate in the future Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 31, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 31, 2021 Close the game/client completely, then go to Windows Settings > Gaming > Xbox Networking and let the test run. Most likely it will fail the NAT test, then click fix it. Once done click check again, does it show Open then? If so try the game, does it appear open? David824 Posted November 3, 2021 Author Share Posted November 3, 2021 Ok Fraser...I believe I've figured it out...I rebooted everything...signed in to my ps5...made that pull the 3074 ports...then I logged off of ps5 but actually turned the ps5 off not in rest mode like I normally do. Signed in on my PC and went into warzone...noticed I had a open Nat....looked back on my R2 in the UPNP and notice my router read my PC and did like before and started with 3074 port but ended with like a 3071 port. So I'm assuming if the ps5 is in rest mode it's still holding onto the 3074 port and not allowing my PC to grab it for warzone and so it just gives it a moderate and doesnt show me on any ports on my R2. Ever heard of the router doing that? Yeah that could well be the reason, there are also some UPNP updates coming in either the next firmware or the one after.
