Netduma Liam Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Welcome to the forum! Where are you seeing this message? Is this after performing a particular action on the interface or is it popping up randomly? What firmware version are you currently running?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 18, 2021 Administrators Posted August 18, 2021 Glad to hear it's working again, there was a new firmware update so it may have auto updated for you and resolved the problem!
ITZPEDROHDI Posted September 2, 2021 Author Posted September 2, 2021 starting getting the massage again it seems it make my router not work properly again
Netduma Liam Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 I see you are indeed on the latest firmware, did you factory reset after this was installed? If not I'd certainly suggest doing this as it can clear out a lot of low-level issues like this.

Could you please do the following: Remove your device from Geo-filter Go to the three-line menu in the top left of the map and hit "Resync Cloud" Reboot the router Re-add your device to Geo-filter.

What about with a different device added to Geo-filter? After factory resetting the XR, did you upload a saved config or did you start from scratch?

Netduma Liam Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 Interesting, could you please try accessing the interface via routerlogin.net and see if the same issue occurs? If not, this might be similar to another issue we've seen.

YT_LowPingKing Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. What game are you playing? Do you have IPv6 enabled?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 8, 2021 Administrators Posted September 8, 2021 Please follow this guide to reinstall the latest firmware using the TFTP method. TFTP - https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP?article=000059634 Latest Firmware - https://kb.netgear.com/000063915/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-58 This allows you to install the firmware bypassing the boot process and any issues there. Once you have completed the upgrade and it's been two minutes access and see whether you have the same issue.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 8, 2021 Administrators Posted September 8, 2021 Is the Desktop where the firmware file is? Did you also enable TFTP for Windows as per the link at the bottom of the guide? Did you wait to press enter on command prompt until step 11 was complete?
