No internet

Hello all,

I had a new virgin hub 4 installed today so I put it in modem mode, factory reset my r2 and reconnected it however I don't have an Internet connection (the Internet light on the router isn't on). I managed to set it up using 192.168.77.1 and disabled IPv6 however it says wan ip is disconnected :(

Any help is appreciated, many thanks!

Hey, welcome to the forum!

Give the R2 a reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes before connecting to it and you should then have internet

Can you take the V hub out of modem mode and put back into router mode, give the R2 a reboot and see if it works? I've always found the modem mode to be a bit finnicky

In the R2 interface, go to System Information and look at Network Status, does the R2 have a WAN IP?

If it was getting an IP I'd expect so.

Are you using the ethernet cable we provided? If so can you try another cable and see if that works please?
