RoyDavis77 Posted July 9, 2021 Share Posted July 9, 2021 I was installing the new beta firmware and lost connection to my laptop and now i cannot access the gui and the ssid does not show on any device, i have tried the reset button but i can hold it down for a minute and it still wont reset, is there any other way of installing the firmware via a tftpserver for example. When connected to the R1 via wired, could you please do the following: If you're using a Windows PC: Hit Win Key + R, then type cmd and hit Enter In the Command Prompt, type ipconfig and hit Enter Send over a full screenshot of the output If you're not using a Windows PC, let me know and I can provide alternate instructions. Netduma Liam Posted July 9, 2021 Share Posted July 9, 2021 That's interesting, you're still getting the correct IP from the R1. Could you please try accessing 192.168.88.1 in an incognito window? RoyDavis77 Posted July 9, 2021 Author Share Posted July 9, 2021 The IP address is a static one that i setup as it said unidentfied network in network connections, it was only showing 192.168.137.1 255.255.255.0 before, i have tried on both tor browser and cleared cache on chrome but no joy. RoyDavis77 Posted July 9, 2021 Author Share Posted July 9, 2021 Not sure why its showing that IP address, it is the windows default address for connection sharing, it doesnt connect to anything. I domt think there is anything more that can be done if there is no way of installing the software or resetting the router, it doesnt even work as a unmanaged switch if i swap the wan for lan.
