Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 11, 2021 Administrators Share Posted April 11, 2021 Are ALL devices losing connection or WiFi/ethernet devices? How often does it seem to occur? Does the connection return on its own or do you need to reboot? What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to?

It returns on its own, sometimes I can hear the people I'm in a call with during the loss of connection but they cannot hear me and I disconnect from any website or game. It happened just now three times in a span of 5-10 minutes The name of my modem is HOTBOX v1.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 24, 2021 Administrators Share Posted April 24, 2021 Copy the WAN IP from the R2 System Information page and set that as static/reserved on the Hotbox and that should help to prevent the issue

Edit: I put a reservation but about 3 minutes after I still lost connection
belphil
See what ip your hotbox has and set that ip as your static ip in your hotbox. there should be a field where you assign the ip of your hotbox.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 25, 2021 Administrators Share Posted April 25, 2021 So put it in the IP part and then add the MAC address of the R2 which you can find in WAN > DHCP on the R2.
holyfugazi
Update: I have done that and for now it does NOT seem to lose connection anymore, thanks a lot boys!

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 28, 2021 Administrators Share Posted April 28, 2021 In the R2 Settings, set the DHCP lease hours to 168 please then reboot the router from the interface, wait 2 minutes before connecting/accessing and see if it happens less please.
