I am getting this error over and over again when trying to use the geo filter screen

When I click OK, it just comes back up immediately.

Not using a VPN or anything like that.

Hey, welcome to the forum!

Click ok, remove your device from the Geo-Filter. Then in the Device Manager give the PC a PlayStation device type, re-add it to the Geo-Filter and select the manual option. See if it stops after that.

Ok I changed it to PlayStation device type. Will this effect my performance or filtering in anyway?

I am running an arris rsb8200 connected to the Netduma. I'm not sure what mode it is in. It is just a modem

Just factory reset with latest update, and I am still getting this error on the geo filter section

That's very strange, how did you perform the factory reset, via the software or using the pin on the back?

I did both. The first time I did it via software, and that gave me issues with detecting internet. So the second time I did it via button on the back and that was perfect in factory resetting.

I am using Chrome. Looks like no HTTP or HTTPS when accessing the interface.

OK, could you see if you're experiencing the same issue in an incognito window/different browser?

How is the R2 connected to power, your devices and your modem/router exactly? Let us know the exact ports being used and how they're connected please.

I am connected to the outlet directly for both the router and modem. The arris modem has a ethernet going to my R2. My R2 is my only router. The rest of the ports on my router are used just for ethernet connections

So the R2 isn't sharing electricity with any other devices on a power strip? Eth from Arris into the WAN/internet port on the R2?

That is correct. My R2 is connected directly to the outlet. Yea the Eth cable from Arris into the the WAN/Internet port on the R2.

I should add that my internet performance on it's own is amazing. I have low buffer bloat and I am getting amazing speeds on all devices.

That's really good to hear! From the Geo-Filter menu can you flush the cloud please and see if it prevents the error returning?

Posted

This is really strange. Now I am getting "This Rapp is not loaded yet, please try again in a minute" for every section. This is after restarting the router.

Ok so I just did another reset and am able to use rapps. I flushed the cloud and I am still getting the same error
