Hi All ,

I am currently using the XR500 without DumaOS 3 I have the standard version , everything runs great and stable but I miss the  OS 3 I have on the R2.  Is the current beta version reasonably stable ?  Would be interested too know before I take the plunge :)   Thanks all

So there is a .114 version that has been linked to some people, I believe that is much more stable than the others but it is a beta so you may have issues, here it is if you want to give it a try:

Thanks Fraser , I have downloaded and pleased to say all the essential things are working as they should , will keep an eye on it and feedback anything further . One thing I have noticed is the Connection Benchmark does not seems to work ... Below are the screenshots from sliders being at 100 / 75 / 50 / 25 % and QOS set as always 87C22064-73F2-4B7B-BBC0-B48FC35614BC.thumb.png.8fd8d9c8d3f0ada6a5f15367cd14d1c8.png90873239-F2F2-443A-8E54-7D2257118FA6.thumb.png.e06d211603ff221ec8017c3473853094.png5D111626-D960-4F96-97BE-A11C0B7CCEA3.thumb.png.57de9f201acc111005daf455c13e6960.png87A48CC4-FB22-4FC1-8FA7-4E844297DAEB.thumb.png.edd9d9dae4609937cfc2b6f43a291f88.png

Thanks Fraser

I have noticed something else this morning ,  QOS set to auto enable allows full bandwidth whilst gaming . I have checked speeds whilst gaming on 2 different devices and they both show full bandwidth . When I change the QOS to always then it kicks in .   My QOS is set up as follows :    Auto Enable /  Both sliders set at 50%  / shared allocation on /  and TP is on DumaOS classified . So all seems to be in order in the QOS .   Maybe my 2 issues are linked . Thanks

Do you actually see Traffic Prioritization being active and prioritizing traffic at the time? Also I would recommend a factory reset once you've upgraded as its a big jump in firmware and will prevent any issues carrying over.

Hi Fraser ,  okay so I factory re set again via the pin in the back for 30 seconds and went through the process of re signing in as if from new . Noticed that my QOS settings sliders and TP which i added previously have not been wiped .  So i re set again via the ERASE function and went through the process again and QOS settings are still the same ... very odd
