max49
Every couple of hours the internet will disconnect from all devices, sometimes for ~30 seconds, sometimes until the router is reset. The CPU usage jumps from ~5-15 to ~80+, the logs are always mentioning drop_caches: 3, and also repeatedly says DHCP old event, DHCP lease change. Here are some logs that might be useful. mfoz11
I turned off IPV6 on the WAN and fixed the same issue for me - im using virgin with superhub in modem mode.
Netduma Liam
Good suggestion above, try disabling IPv6 as mentioned and see how you get on!

So I have turned off the iPV6 on the WAN and that seems to have stopped random disconnects, however know my logs repeatedly say "daemon.err odhcp6c[1956]: Failed to send DHCPV6 message to ff02::1:2 (Address not available)" (see logs) and its now pretty common that my internet just seems to stops loading things and not functioning properly. When I hover over the internet icon on my PC it says my WiFi is limited. I am using a virgin media superhub. log-1612358080279.txt
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 3, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 3, 2021 If you're not using IPv6 then those entries are fine. How are you using the V hub, is it in modem or router mode? What WiFi settings are you using on the R2?

In the WiFi tab I am using the default settings except I have split the two bands from each other. I have a couple ports forwarded for my ps4 however when I have the issues my ps4 is in standby mode. I have the V Hub setup in modem mode.
Netduma Liam
I have heard some reports that modem mode on VM can be a bit hit or miss, can you temporarily take it out of modem mode and see if the 'limited' message disappears in Windows?
