Keep Losing internet connection

Hey Guys, I am having an issue with the NetDuma R2 router. My router will randomly lose WIFI signal once a day. My modem that I got from my ISP still works fine though, which makes it clear that there is something wrong with the R2 router. I also have the newest firmware downloaded and I am still having the issue.

I'm having the same issue as well, but with my R1. Do you find it happens when your internet is under bit of load? (example; streaming video on multiple devices).

Did you do a factory reset after upgrading to the latest firmware? What WiFi settings are you using?

@bossman try using a guest wifi network and see if it is more stable for you - I assume you're using the beta?

How do I do a factory reset?

Click the 3 dot icon in the top right of the interface and you can find it there.

I did it by holding the reset button at the back of the router just now, does that work the same way? If so, I am going to give this a try and see if it improves. Thank you for your help.

I prefer to do it via the interface when you have access and the button when you don't but yes that is fine, make sure to hold down the button for 30 seconds when you do it that way.

Wow, huge improvement! thanks so much for your help! I reset it and now my internet signals improved so much more. So I guess from now on after I update my firmware I should factory reset, correct?

That's really great to hear! You're very welcome. Yes that's what I would recommend - it removes old low level code from the previous version you were on that could cause issues with the new version you're upgrading to.

Hey Fraser, I ran into another issue. I did another factory reset to fix the speeds on my router but now I cant connect to the wifi. How do I fix this? I can connect wired but Im not getting any connection with WIFI.

Are you able to access the interface? Is the R2 broadcasting Wi-Fi and you just can't connect to it or is it not broadcasting an SSID at all?
