Why is the duma os so glitchy and buggy? The AX11000 is able to translate NAT effortlessly without having to do all this technical port forwarding, DMZ, Upnp crap. I think the guys at Duma need to go over and talk to the Asus guys to figure out how to make their software run better

Have you got an issue you need help with? Also the settings for ports are Netgears, not ours. That router will be doing any number of these things as well.

This is an old thread but I too am having these exact issues. I can't get more than 1 device to have Open NAT. I was using the R8000 and UPnP with Nat filter set to open took care of it. I could have 4 devices all with Open nat. I have a PC and ps4. My girl has the ps4 and if she starts playing cold war or warzone before me, my nat type goes to moderate and I'm forced to port forward the PC otherwise, we both have moderate Nats and we cannot play together at all. If I port forward her ps4, UDP 3074, the router refuses to give me an open nat no matter what I do. @Netduma Fraser, maybe this is an issue Netgear team is aware of? Idk if this is UPnP issue (I assume so due to more than one device needs to use the same 3074 port) or if this is a nat filter issue. I don't have access to my modem GUI which is....odd.

Hey, welcome to the forum!

It is something they're aware of, I have sent you a PM, please see if that works.

This 100% fixed it. I understand this Firmware is buggy and I've already seen the buggy part of it BUT, is this okay to keep using? I'll see you in the Netgear Forums in a bit. We are still working on my internet packet loss. I'll post pics as soon as I get the PL!
