Could you provide a screenshot of the R2 System Information page please?

Not home currently but will send once I get there. The WAN and LAN did say something like "Disconnected" or "Unknown" Can't remember which one for each.

I think it may be worth contacting your internet provider and asking them whether there is anything you need to do to connect another router to it as it's definitely strange you're unable to get internet

Is it possible because of I used the switch method, just throwing things out there. Because the switch method is the only reason I've gotten as far as I have but the RGW (BGW210) is not plugged in at all since I have ONT in one of the switch ports then another port from switch to router (R2) WAN port.

Ah I see, double check the BGW internet settings to see if it uses PPPoE, VLAN or DHCP identifiers to get internet. If not there may be static IP information you can enter into the R2 instead to get a connection

Okay, guess I'll check the settings in the BGW since I had to plug back in for the time being. I've tried inputting manually static and that was no luck, so hope to find something else in the settings.

Think I may have an idea why I'm not getting an internet connection. Tell me if I'm wrong. Is it possible because my MAC on the R2 isn't matching the one I had on my Gateway even though the Gateway is not plugged in but was used to authenticate the ONT?

Yes that is possible, sometimes they lock it to the gateway, so in WAN Settings on the R2, set the MAC as the gateway MAC, apply then reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes then check

Just got the chance to do this today and still no luck. The only thing that has changed is now WAN and Public now show an IP.

I would say first try factory reset the BGW/RGW first. Wait for it to set up with internet connection. Then you could try the following the link below, as there may be some information you might have overlooked.

https://www.dslreports.com/forum/r32094182-

As this is the answer to someone asking about BGW210 here regarding the method above

https://www.dslreports.com/forum/r32888336-

I remember the method I used was the jsolo1 method. But, someone showcased it with a PDF file to follow along with screenshots. I can't find that link, but this one is what I followed along with for bypass using the S8000 Switch. Similar to this

Edit:

I found a thread I replied regarding dumb switch method

Did you see whether the BGW was using PPPoE or anything like that for a connection?

Thanks for both of your help through all of this but nothing seemed to work with eliminating my RGW so I just plugged it back In to the switch and the router as well. Everything is working fine as of the past few days, as well as all features on DumaOS. Only thing is some bad wifi speeds but ill live with that as I'm wired to everything in my home for the main part.
