marki3d Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 Sometimes I feel like the netduma is useless. You emptying a clip only to get turn on a get two shot. When you check the kill cam only two hit reg only two bullets connect out of 30. Always getting connected to 80 plus ping servers. I am just fed up
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted May 27, 2020 Administrators Posted May 27, 2020 Might be that you need to improve your local network conditions before any server will have an acceptable ping.
marki3d Posted June 12, 2020 Author Posted June 12, 2020 How do i go about doing that? Any recommendatons?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 13, 2020 Administrators Posted June 13, 2020 Well what exactly is your physical setup? e.g. ISP router (devices connected via wifi & ethernet) > XR500 (consoles connected) Are you playing via WiFi or ethernet? Where abouts are you located and what servers are you connecting to? Are you using QoS?
marki3d Posted June 13, 2020 Author Posted June 13, 2020 isp modem wired to xr500 wired to the xbox. I am in Jamaica connected most time connected to the Texas server.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 14, 2020 Administrators Posted June 14, 2020 Okay well that kind of explains it, due to the distance and the undersea routing you require the ping will be fairly high. You could try forcing servers in Florida as they may play better for you.
marki3d Posted June 14, 2020 Author Posted June 14, 2020 The main issue I have, the closest server which would be Florida give me the highest pings like over 120 m.s. When i connect to the one in Alabama or Texas is atleast 80 m.s. never below it. Another issue is trying to find the right Anti-Blufferbloat because 70/70 don't work for me. What can i do to find the right Anti-blufferbloat
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 14, 2020 Administrators Posted June 14, 2020 You could put your location in the ocean and use Ping Assist, it's unlikely but maybe you'll find lower ping servers that way. Follow this guide while downloading/streaming heavily and change your Anti-BB percentage (while using Always) and find what lowers the ping the most/keeps it stable: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping
