Ptingler81
This is ridiculous. I cant seem to get ping down. That hop 10 is horrible. What should I do?
N3CR0
Surely thats the server at fault since all the hops before look good. In which case, nothing you can do I guess.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 13, 2020 Administrators Share Posted February 13, 2020 Don't use game servers to test through PingPlotter, they can be unreliable. Use a local site such as a news website to fine tune your QoS. QoS eliminates local congestion aka spikes/jitter/rises in ping caused by your internet usage, it can't do anything for issues arising due to the way an actual server is networked or the routing. Only they could fix that. It's about getting your connection as good as possible on your end.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 13, 2020 Administrators Share Posted February 13, 2020 The graph makes it look worse than it is, roughly 10ms spikes at its peak which isn't great but it's not too bad. As it is fairly low to begin with you'd be unlikely to really feel the affect of that in a game.
