And I occasionally get "RPC error 'ERROR_NOENT': Rule not found in chain" when I try to update my QOS settings. Is this expected behaviour due to a mistake on my side?

Hmm, that's an odd one. Simplest thing to do here is to downgrade back to this firmware: https://kb.netgear.com/000060127/XR500-Firmware-Version-2-3-2-32

Then upgrade back again: https://kb.netgear.com/000061157/XR500-Firmware-Version-2-3-2-56

Hopefully that fixes the issue. If not, could you factory reset the router (as a last resort) as that should then solve the problem. https://kb.netgear.com/000053098/How-do-I-perform-a-factory-reset-on-my-Nighthawk-Pro-Gaming-router

Let us know how you get on.

Thanks, I'll try this in the coming days. BUT i need to note that I did the downgrade > upgrade path already after the recent issue that was mentioned here:

(I was affected and did the downgrade)
