RickZayne
Hi, I just bought a 2nd hand R1 with the new dashboard and I’m having issues with how slow to respond it is. in chrome it’s crazy slow, you press on any of the pages and it takes ages to load. explore isn’t as bad but still slow. on my phone though everything loads up almost instantly. I've tried resetting and factory resetting, but nothing changes. I also have issues with selection boxes loading outside of the browser. thanks
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted December 11, 2019 Administrators Share Posted December 11, 2019 It's interesting that your phone loads the pages faster than your computer... Could you see if the same thing happens in an incognito window? I wonder if extensions are messing with it, or some caching issue?
purpleandgold33
Yeah what Alex said maybe it's your computer. Try rebooting your computer. Sounds like that might be the problem if it boots up on your phone right away. Chrome should work fine with it. Cheers hope you get it sorted! RickZayne
This is how slow it is, Also doesn't change much in incognito. My PC has a ryzen 7 1700x, a rtx 2060, and 16gb ram, so it shouldn't be my PC any ideas? thanks Untitled.mp4
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted December 11, 2019 Administrators Share Posted December 11, 2019 Wow that really is slow. I notice that you've got lots of extensions installed, including uBlock. Have you paused uBlock for 192.168.88.1? Have you tried incognito/private browsing? The speed of your computer won't make a difference if extensions are getting in the way. RickZayne
Turns out it was the "I don't care about cookies" extension Super speedy now! Only issue is when I put the Geo filter map on my dashboard It doesn't show the map?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 11, 2019 Administrators Share Posted December 11, 2019 Great to hear you fixed it. If you refresh the page it should appear, if not there may be something else thats pinned thats preventing the map appearing - we've seen that before in the past, could be something like Bandwidth Allocation or Anti-Bufferbloat so try unpinning those and see if it comes back, if so let us know please. Also you can resize the panels using the little arrows in the bottom right of the panels, hold click and drag.
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted December 12, 2019 Administrators Share Posted December 12, 2019 Yeah I believe that having the QoS flower and the map on the same screen can cause issues. This is a bug i've come across before and we're aware of it!
