Call of duty black ops 4

Hi why do I get a different ping in Call of duty black ops 4 what I mean is Call of duty black ops 4 as its own connection meter in the game which is saying about 50ms and 60ms which is different to netduma which is saying 25ms which one is right iam confused 😳

The in game connection meter isn't accurate. Don't worry about it.

Okay just completely confused me as I was getting a 25ms ping with netduma and 50ms to up 60ms with Call of duty black ops 4  on xbox. Thanks for reply

They include things like processing delay etc which all games have, most just don't choose to include that in their ping calculation. There is nothing you can do about that additional ping. Our ping shows the ping direct to the server and thats the ping that you can control.

So if you get a ping of 30ms from speed test do you add this to the 20ms you get with the server in Call of duty black ops 4

It's not always going to be 20ms but I would focus on the Geo-Filter ping as that's the most representative of what your connection will be like.

So what you are saying on the net duma where it says ping this is your actual ping  🙂

Yes its the ping from you to the server and thats all you can control so wouldn't worry too much about the in game ping.

If you create a custom game with bots you will notice that you will have a ping near 20ms. 

It doesn't make sense because it's "single player" yet you still have a "high" ping (instead of it being 1-5ms). 

So yeah they are right, other stuff is added into it.
