Anti-bufferbloat

Recommended Posts

Hi all I have been trying to sort out anti-flood I have been testing it with dslreports.com and it says I have bufferbloat on the upload. I have 1mbps on the upload and no matter I can't get it resolved. Each time I run dslreports getting a different answer. Get packet loss reading with ping plotter. But if I ping using cmd I don't no packet loss its sending me mad been at it most of today lol

If your playing blackops4 and in uk

Try forcing the New York server

Due to lag comp I find it plays better most of the time!

Set geo to around 400miles

PA 0

Place geo over newyork server then boot the game

We shouldn't have to do this to make the game play better as it's wrong but here's How

the geo is currently on spectating mode in pic

Just change it to filtering mode before you boot the game

I wouldn't bother with DSLReports personally as I don't find it to be accurate, would suggest sticking with PingPlotter. You said you got packet loss on PingPlotter, was this shown in the top half with all the hops or on the graph as red bars? If the former and not the latter then it's absolutely fine, you're not experiencing packet loss :)
