Krush Posted February 17, 2019 Author Posted February 17, 2019 I use IPV6 with the XR500 Does the XR500 protect you with an IPV6 firewall? Will it be possible to have an upnp, a dhcp and a dmz via ipv6 ?
muffintastic Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 Hate to drop into this thread but as for more IPV6 options, add an option for native IPV6, since my ISP fully supports it instead of using a 6-to-4 tunnel.

Yes, we may have a solution for this in the future 6 hours ago, muffintastic said: Hate to drop into this thread but as for more IPV6 options, add an option for native IPV6, since my ISP fully supports it instead of using a 6-to-4 tunnel. Noted, thanks.

No worries, I mind adding the notorious ISP is Sky UK both their products Fibre and standard Broadband have native IPV6 on their network which is only attainable through the Option 61 feature as well I think I'm not sure how it is achieved, on my other spare router, Asus with custom firmware (Merlin) just has a drop down menu saying "Native" so.. I'm not the expert, lol.
