Netduma interface access

Recommended Posts

So I have two routers. My main router cable in from the pole outside. Wired connection from that router to netduma, than wired into ps4. All works great. My question. I use an iPad for netduma control. I can only access the page using google chrome if the iPad is on the netduma wifi. Why can't I get it on my main router if it is just a web address? I only use netduma for ps4

I think you are asking if you can access the netduma when you are a different wifi than the netduma wifi... You have to go to settings>misc>Access control panel from WAN... Although this will allow your router to be accessed from outside your network as well. I've been running it this way for months without a problem so I can access the netduma on my pc that isn't connect to it.

That is what I am asking, your idea did not work for me.

Can you follow these instructions here to access via WAN. Mazda is correct but you're probably trying to connect with the internal IP. That link will explain exactly how to do it :)

If that doesn't work then I will say the xfinity gateways DO NOT like you connecting to things from inside of their catastrophe of a network. For example when I had my gateway, to access my own IP net cam using my ddns while on MY wifi network I couldn't. But when I was accessing it from outside of my network I could. I don't know why, but the gateways block strange things.

Just trying to use my iPad to access netduma on my other wifi router

But which IP are you trying to connect with? You can't use 192.168.88.1 from WAN, you have to use the WAN IP in device manager :)
