Murdoch
So I have two routers. My main router cable in from the pole outside. Wired connection from that router to netduma, than wired into ps4. All works great. My question. I use an iPad for netduma control. I can only access the page using google chrome if the iPad is on the netduma wifi. Why can't I get it on my main router if it is just a web address? I only use netduma for ps4

cranium2001
If you have that same screen click in the blue box. It will open your other router from there. Usually admin for username and password for password.
Murdoch
Yeah I can login to my other router, am just lost after that. It is an xfinity wireless gateway 1 router. But it's not important. Above my skill level.

Although this will allow your router to be accessed from outside your network as well. I've been running it this way for months without a problem so I can access the netduma on my pc that isn't connect to it.

Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted June 16, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 16, 2015 That is what I am asking, your idea did not work for me. Can you follow these instructions here to access via WAN. Mazda is correct but you're probably trying to connect with the internal IP. That link will explain exactly how to do it

Mazda is correct but you're probably trying to connect with the internal IP. That link will explain exactly how to do it If that doesn't work then I will say the xfinity gateways DO NOT like you connecting to things from inside of their catastrophe of a network. For example when I had my gateway, to access my own IP net cam using my ddns while on MY wifi network I couldn't. But when I was accessing it from outside of my network I could. I don't know why, but the gateways block strange things.

Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted June 16, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 16, 2015 What IP are you using to try and connect? Is it the one after WAN IP in device manager? And no, you shouldn't have to do anything on that page

Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted June 17, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 17, 2015 Just trying to use my iPad to access netduma on my other wifi router But which IP are you trying to connect with? You can't use 192.168.88.1 from WAN, you have to use the WAN IP in device manager
