Good companions Duma army!!

wanted to ask you about whether it is possible to use keyboard and mouse on PS4 and play CoD.

if it is possible,Can you use a mouse and a normal keyboard? or it has to be a keyboard and a specific mouse?

Greetings and thanks to everyone who answers and helps me. ;)

Yeah, it's possible. I think it's been happening for quite some time now. Check out cronus max, not sure if you heard about it yet, but it basically makes it so you can use any controller like xbox controller and use it for ps4 or use mouse and keyboard to play ps4. You can use any mouse and keyboard with cronus max. I'm not sure if there's anything else, I've heard of eagle eye, but I heard cronus max was a very popular controller-changing type of thing.

theres xim and theres cronusmax+ both will allow you to use any keyboard and mouse aswell as any controller on any console. Here are the links to their respective sites.

thanks for the answers guys!

for what I see right now I would only be worth the xim because cronusmax is not valid for PS4, but good and knowing where I have to choose.

Both the XIM and Cronusmax would work for PS4, but apparently Cronusmax is terrible because the analog stick to mouse input translation is poor in comparison. The XIM is seen as the gold standard as a result, although it wouldn't be anything like 1:1 PC input that you may be used to if you've played PC games.

My friend uses both XIM4 and controller on PS4 and he's gone back and forth because he doesn't like struggling to find good settings for sensitivity. He's also had to spend on testing different mice because different brands respond differently through adapters, and once you find something that doesn't give you issues you'll likely have to spend weeks finding good settings for that mouse's DPI and "feel". He said there's new firmware called XIM Apex coming out soon, which actually feels more responsive because it has 1000Hz polling rate (1ms response time/input delay) as opposed to the XIM4 which has something like 8ms. If a XIM user could confirm or correct that, that'd be great. But if you want to buy an adapter you should go for XIM Apex, assuming it's out already. I don't know if it's been released yet or if it's currently in beta, but if you search on YouTube for gameplay videos I'm sure XIM Apex users would be happy to answer questions you may have on it!

I personally wouldn't recommend using it on console because the advantage you could have is borderline cheating in FPS games, but to each his own... I'm not your dad so I can't tell you what to do ;)
