Badger3k Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 I'm not sure why the internal IP for my PS4 keeps changing. I've already changed the port forwarding I had for one port (for CoD), and when I looked today, the internal IP has changed from .3 to .16. I changed the port forward to it, and I think I have to restart the router for it to take effect, right?, but is there a way to not have these things change? Until this system I never had a way of checking it easily so I might never have noticed it before if it changed. (we have a lot of phones, etc, including printers, on the system).
BIG__DOG Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 go to DHCP and give it a static ip so it does not change. Please let me know if you are not sure on how to do this and also if you are a R1 or XR500 user!
Administrators Netduma Admin Posted March 4, 2018 Administrators Posted March 4, 2018 As BD said, go to >Settings >LAN setup. You can then use the address reservation to add the devices you would like to have static IPs

It disconnected then reconnected, and going to the game it finally has an Open NAT again. The system makes it real easy. Appreciate all the help.
