N3CR0 Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 hi i am trying to set up R1 with ppoe the password and username on r1 . I dont know which to put in my hub VM2ac password in modem mode currently, or my actual sine in details to virgn media my hub access or account details thanks You don't need PPoE with cable iirc. I'm sure I didn't when I was on Virgin. Just put the hub in modem mode and your set.
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted January 20, 2018 Netduma Staff Posted January 20, 2018 hi i am trying to set up R1 with ppoe the password and username on r1 . I dont know which to put in my hub VM2ac password in modem mode currently, or my actual sine in details to virgn media my hub access or account details thanks Yeh I'd agree with the above, I've not seen anyone here using Virgin who needs PPPoE. If you already have Internet access through the Netduma, you don't require PPPoE
BIG__DOG Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 Put virgin hub in modem mode and connect to wan on r1 that is it. B.D
