MoonKnight137 Posted November 15, 2017 Share Posted November 15, 2017 I am in need of assistance and need help. I have had the Netduma router for quite awhile now and has never given me problems. But recently it has not been working. I tried to give it a hard reset and still nothing. It shows up throughout the house as the WIFI and everything, but when we try to connect any device to it, it wont connect and would say something like incorrect password. We tried the password we changed it to and the default one and still nothing. We can not even get on the R1 interface page anymore, it constantly says error and will not let us access it. We thought it was our modem so we got that replaced but still same problem with the Netduma router. Please help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Maybe it won’t let me access it until at least one device is hooked up to it then grants it permission to I don’t know but I’m gonna try that and post if it worked or not. Thanks for the suggestions. Before trying any of my suggestions, please try the suggestion from pollutionblues above. So connected via Ethernet directly to the Netduma (when the Netduma is not connected to the Modem) so you see the Netduma R1 network? Is it specifically called 'Netduma R1', or a name you changed it to? Did you originally change the password? When you try 'netdumar1' (all lower case), what message appears? Also, when you say you 'hard reset the Netduma', how did you originally do this? You may need to reset the Netduma using the RES button on the back of the router. To do this, hold that button down for 30 seconds. We do not recommend this step in any other case, but in this case it should work and reset the password to 'netdumar1'. I was able to hook my phone up to the "netduma r1" but doesnt receive any WIFI from it. On the interface I ran a test on the internet diagnosis and it said ping was terrible, jitter was terrible, spikes were terrible, and packet loss was no loss. If you open Command Prompt and type 'ipconfig', (and hit enter), what do the results say? Could you screenshot those and post them here? Could you also screenshot your LAN and Wi-Fi settings pages on the Netduma? Also, just because it hasn't yet been mentioned, do you know if you require PPPoE on your connection? All I did was go on the Xbox and manually entered the IP address and everything and it connected .
