Peer Ping graph ???

Any reason why the peer ping graph isn't showing all players in the game?

 

I'm on a wired connection to Xbox1 with Open NAT playing CODAW

 

The host ping was fairly steady at 30ms and the peer pings of the 3 players that were listed were between 30-50ms but I was getting destroyed by everyone in the game. 

 

I had my geo in the atlantic ocean with 30ms Ping Assist, strict mode off. 

I live in Pennsylvania

 

I know someone was lagging hard but I couldn't prove it. 

 

I've been trying everything possible to get a good match but nothing has helped.

The geo in the ocean has worked the best for me.

I believe the peer ping feature was designed more so for games like Destiny where there are multiple hosts

Also, any servers that you were connected to won't be shown. There is a bar for every circle on the GeoFilter so if there was someone from outside the GeoFilter who you were connected to I don't think you would get the ping to them on the Peer Ping graph.

Only players will be shown as bars on the peer ping graph, not the host which has it's own ping graph

and only if they are in the geofilter circle?

Every circle in the GeoFilter will be shown unless it is a server. On some games, there may be players outside of your GeoFilter in the game and I don't think that they have a bar on Peer Ping - only people inside the GeoFilter. I'm not 100% certain about that though.... Also if there are multiple people playing a a house or console - they will only show up as one bar on the GeoFilter.

Oh right, so did you only have two bars on peer ping or did you have more?

I assume it always shows the host which is the large circle or nuke symbol.

Yeah, the host will always show on the GeoFilter. I think it will show on peer ping unless it is a dedicated server.

So that will be when one of the circles is a dedicated server or possible when one of the players is outside of your GeoFilter.

Crossy is correct PeerPing is more for games like Destiny where every player is host.

would there be a way in the future on the peer ping to color code the graph with the player in the geo filter.. what I mean is if the green bar on the graph then a green circle in geo filter, blue bar, blue circle...etc..

This is actually on the agenda for future software updates. You can easyly track what is happening with all the future updates as well as you can vote and if i am not mistaking you can also put ideas forward( i can be wrong on this one though)
