Andy706 Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 I have my geofiltering set to 653 miles and ping assist on 0. My ping assist was originally set at 50, then I began to lower it hoping that would help but to no avail. And I am constantly being connected to players and hosts that are 1500-2000 miles away and even in other countries.i was playing on Xbox One at the time. But it also happens when I use my Xbox 360 and ONLY when playing Black Ops 2. I have disabled the geofiltering and then enabled it. The restarted the Duma from the settings-miscellaneous. I am new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 27, 2017 Administrators Posted April 27, 2017 Hey, welcome to the forum! Keep your ping assist at 0 and put strict mode on, then all games will be inside your radius.
Andy706 Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 Strict mode is enabled. Same problem occurs. i have also tried BO3, Advanced Warfare, as well as Infinite Warfare. BO2 is the only game this happens on.
Zennon Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Have you set up a service for the 360 then enabled it?
Andy706 Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 Yes the 360 is set up and enabled. This also occurs when playing on Xbox One via digital download.
Zennon Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Turn off the Xbox one service, turn on the Xbox360 service. Make sure you have strict ticked, turn off the 360 reboot the duma from misc settings wait a few minutes then boot up the 360 and test again please.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 27, 2017 Administrators Posted April 27, 2017 Can you take a picture of your Geo-filter page please. Also ensure you're using Auto & bleeding edge cloud. Click apply even if you are.
Andy706 Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 Thanks Zennon. I have just completed what you asked and I'm still having the same problem.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 27, 2017 Administrators Posted April 27, 2017 We can't see it on your Facebook. Use imgur.com, as that will definitely work
Andy706 Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 Sorry guys. I am not too great with these things. Thanks for being patient with me.
BENORMOUS Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Show us the service at the top as well as strict mode show dormamt host etc need to see a full picture of the whole host filtering page
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 28, 2017 Administrators Posted April 28, 2017 Your picture looks like it's successfully blocking everything outside your radius. The Andy xbox is disabled, so you may get red hosts outside your radius which relate to that device but the one that's enabled looks to be working as expected. If this isn't the case then zoom out of the map and provide a screenshot of the entire page as opposed to a picture of the screen, it'll be easier to see everything: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022394-how-do-i-take-a-screenshot-
THE_DEAD_POOL Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Andy, From what I understand, the NetDuma will only allow you to connect to those two circles within your radius. It does not prevent the other people outside of your radius from connecting to one of those players within your radius. I'm suffering from this same issue. Rarely will I have a majority of the players in the lobby within the radius I have set.

Rarely will I have a majority of the players in the lobby within the radius I have set. From my understanding the Netduma when playing a game like COD that is P2P, no dedicated servers where one of the players is host. No one in your lobby should be outside your set radius or pinging higher than what you have your ping assist set to. If the Duma is set up correctly. Fraser, Can you confirm or deny this???
